From grandfather Sakis in 1960, to granddaughter Ioulia today, the Drouvas estate, on the slopes of the hills that surround Pyrgos of Ilia to the north, with its emblematic palm trees, olive trees, various fruit trees, vines with flax and pine barrels, has evolved into a modern vineyard and winery managed by son Spyros, while the design, standardization and distribution of the wine has been undertaken by the granddaughter, an oenologist.

” After encouragement from my family, I started attending classes at the School of Oenology at the Technical University of Athens and somewhere there I got excited and discovered that it is what I really want to do in my life, as winemaking is a magical art ” (I. Drouva, PATRIS newspaper, 29/3/2015)
